Sorry again Scott. That really sucks. Was your car all paid off or was their still a lein on it? I know that if something like that happens to my car while I am still paying and it is considered totalled, I have what is called GAP insurance that pays the diference between what I owe and what I get.
Hope all goes well. And btw, if you are looking for a new SHO, I'll sell ya mine. I'll be driving through Tennesse on my way to Florida over Christmas. I could drop it off for ya.
wink

Best of luck, Mike

Guys I don't know where people could sell this stuff that it wouldn't be found. I think it's a rare enough car and I believe there is a tag on the engine with the Vin? There is on my 95'. Good luck with whatever you do.

OZZMAN, SHOntell and Tacmedic..No my car was not paid off, I still owe about $8000....and Tacmedic I enjoyed sharing the forum with a fellow Tennessee guy but I will not be buying another SHO. And I do have pictures of the frame that was my SHO. It is a Ford Taurus frame sitting in an impound lot in the dust. (The lot attendant and I could not find it at first because we were looking for a torn up silver SHO). I want to get this issue put to bed this week with the insurance guy because I have spotted a Lincoln LS I like and hopefully it will heal the wounds.
This is one great forum with some GREAT people. Thanks to all you guys for your kind words.

I'm really sorry to hear all this that has happened. I offer my condolences on your loss. I hope that someday these people can be found, and that the punnishment will be harsh!

trying not to put anti-theft information out on a public forum, if anyone has any recommendations on the best method of getting a fuel cut off switch installed, could you e-mail me at [email protected]? thanks!

It's sad to see thefts like this happen. While it's near impossible to make a car impossible to steal, there are many options out there now to get your car back before anything is done to it. I know lojack is not available in your area, but I've been told there are 2 other companys that offer tracking systems. The 2 in your area use GPS tracking to locate your car FAST. I would seriously consider one for your next car. It's a 35% discount on theft insurance around here. I'm sorry to see that you won't be getting another sho, but let me be the first to say, don't be a stranger.

Man I'm sorry dude. My alarm just took a shit on me and something like this scares the crap out of me. F'in **** holes. I hope that engine gets a sudden jolt of juice and the radiator fan shredds their balls off.
