I can't believe someone took my SHO last night from my carport. Glass was broken. It is a 98 Silver Frost with round 3"tips stolen from Memphis TN. Guess I should have added the aftemarket alarm after all. Will keep you posted.

This is only the second one I have ever heard of getting ripped off. Did you have your alarm set? And we are discussing on the list how the PATS key was so easily overcome.

Car theives and vandals suck!!!! shoot (my poor poor 87 GN) I can't stress enough to people, if you have LoJack available to you, get it!!! When coupled with an active alarm you will get a 35% discount on your insurance. LoJack will now alert you if you car has been moved, so you can check, and if stolen, call the police to have the transmitter activated.

Sorry to hear about this. I will be on the look out here in Tulsa, OK. It would be odd for stupid thieves to drive that far but you never know.

I pray you get your SHO back.

My car was found stripped last night and I just went to see it at the impound lot. No engine, no body panels, no seats. Essetially a frame with a VIN to identify the body. Truly a professional job. Thanks for the interest and the help fellows. Stay vigilant and protect your cars the best you can.

I'd break down and cry if I seen my baby sitting there like that. I couldn't imagine what it would feel like to have the SHO equipment dismembered from it's chassis. Now it's just a "plain jain". frown

Well, I hope the insurance pays off somewhere close to replacement value so you can buy another one. I hate to be the only one in Tennessee on the forum. Sorry to hear the bad news. I will update the Metro PD BOLO sheet accordingly.

Yeah, having a car stolen sucks......

but on the bright side, if the cams and/or tranny fail, at least they'll find your sho and the insurance should pic up the cost of repair :D

Sorry, I try to look for the positive things in life.....

I will meet with the insurance guy next week to get my settlement amount. I have many good pictures and every maintenance receipt from day one. They have asked me to supply these items and I am going to smother them with evidence that I had one immaculate SHO. Course then I will probably get bent over, but at least I had my ducks in a row. They want to see my latest pix so I guess I would pass along to document how good your car looks in pictures in case you have to undergo this same freaking crap.
