stock tranny and motor on nitrous?

I want to put a small hit on my car. Just want to know how the tranny and motor handle the nitrous. I wouldnt hit it untill 2nd or 3rd gear and i wouldnt power shift. Thanks...

If you motor is healthy , it can handle nitrous , ALOT of it. On stock everything i think a 75hp shot is something that you can call safe.

Trans can hold it pretty well too. The only thing tranny doesnt like its the overspin , the differantial pin will pass through the case if burnouts is your fav sport.

If you want to have that power always , theres several boltons and mods , that can bring your sho to 300 hp N/A no juice , and 500hp with a blower.

There are quite a few SHO's running nitrous (like Me) without problems. Make sure your mantainance is up to par.

Well the car has many new parts on it. And the tranny has around 80k miles on it. I will try hitting it with 75 NO wheel spin lol or as little as possible.
