stock subwoofer

i just noticed today for the first time that there was nothing plugged into the stock subwoofer in my 98 sho. its got the mach sound system. where do i find the wires for plugging into it? i would love to get this thing working. any help is much appreciated.

Only the 96 SHO got the woofer. The 97-99 SHOs got the Mach sound system which had no sub.

This is the hole you see in your rear package tray. It's from my 99, with Pioneer 6x9's in place of the MACH speakers. I also cut out the carpet thinking I was going to put a 6x9 sub in it but gave up on that idea.

no, mine is a 98 and it does have a 6x9 sub, but its not plugged in and i dont know where to get the wires for it. i think 6x9 is the dimension

Well, if you have a sub back there it definately isn't factory.

Unless someone installed the 96 JBL sub in it. You could try Ray at Midnight Auto on eBay for the wiring harness for the speakers.
