Ok, I put a new deck in my 92 SHO and now the rear sub stopped working as a result. I was told this would happen when I bought the wiring harness for the new deck. So anyway, I was wondering what I could do to make it work again. Also, does anyone know how much power this thing can handle? I was thinking of acually hooking it up to an amplifier and seeing how hard it can bump

Can that be done?

You know, Focal makes a tiny sub, very similar in size to the JBL system. It's called the Focal Utopia 5WS. It's a 5 3/8" subwoofer. You might be able to stick that right in the stock box, don't know.

THX SHOtime !!!

Like Eric said .... double check the wiring.

Did you by-pass the amps at all ?? Are you getting sound out of the speakers ?? The sub amp is connected to the interior speaker amp. So if your not getting any thump, your not getting any sound. If you are getting sound .. Adjust the controls on the radio. Your factory speakers might not be able to handle the power coming from the radio and its distorted.

Stock sub can't handle that much power. Hope it helps !!
