stock intake question

are there any major differences between the stock intake system on 1st and 2nd gen SHOs, im not talking about the manifold or anything like that, just the rubber tubes, MAF and airbox

Nope should be the same. As long as you are talking MTX gen 2 with the gen 1.

There is some sort of difference in the lower airbox on 89's and possibly 90's. I do not recall the details, but Bizzy purchased my stock airbox because of these differences. Maybe she will chime in.

Well for one the motor sits differently so the hose is different.

Nope. ATX and MTX y-pipe are totally different. Same reason above the engine is placed differently along with a different manifold design between the 2.
