I am in the process of putting my 95 back to the stock amp and stereo setup and I have a few questions.first off i took this setup out of another gen2 (1992).....the previous owners son decided to put in an aftermarket alpine stereo and speakers and totally screwed up everything...ie. wires running across the engine bay and so on! So to my questions.1.were does the wires (yellow and black) that I have pictured below connect? I believe this to be the power wires to the sub amp, but I have no connector coming from the car to connect to (yellow and black wires). 2. were do the factory rear speakers wire into? again, he had wires running everywhere and had cut the originals like mad!

Yellow wire goes to your fuel pump, the black goes to your muffler belt sensor.:) I wish I could help you brother! You've gotto hate it when somebody does a chop up job like was done on your radio system!

I can't see the picture you posted but 95% of the time Yellow and Black is a constant hot wire for your Memory or the Remote wire that turns the amp on when the key is turned on. Is it under the hood I can't see it?

looks like the filter that goes in the trunk, near the amps. I'll take a look at mine and see.

yeah the one end connects to the sub amp, but I am asking about where the yellow and black connector attaches? wonder why my car doesn't have that connector unless they changed from 92 to 95~

well if he hacked up the wires they may be behind the trunck carpet or who knows. I'm willing to take a look later when i get home at my car for you. Mine is a 95 with jbl, never molested.

I think it is a filter to keep alt noise from getting into the system.

Why would you want to put the stock amp back in?? Me personally i would get a decent aftermarket Head unit, and get the "amp by-pass plug" and save yourself 10lbs. Plus any aftermarket headunit will make your speakers sound alot better!
