Stiker on ATX

On My 93 ATX pan cover there is a sticker. It is orange and saids: Do Not Service.”E” AX4S
SHO MTC See TSB #92-?? (the sticker was ripped and I could not tell the ?? numbers)
Call 1-800-821-5046 Void After June 30 1993

What does the sticker mean?

It means "you should have bought an MTX if you have to look at this sticker". lol

Uh, don't know. I don't remember seeing one on my ATX.

Sounds like they did a recall or something, or there was a TSB for the tranny back in '93. I'd say ask a Ford dealer, but they don't know the first thing about servicing a SHO, as most of us here have come to find out. They know regular Taurus's but when it comes to a SHO they're like, "Now that had the 5.0 in it, right?"

there is one on Karen's 99 as well, and every other automatic SHO tranny I've seen. no idea what it is.

The TSB simply means that if it cost over $1500 to repair ...REPLACE the entire tranny
