stiff clutch

My dads clutch has been reallllllly stiff lately. i mean, it is really a workout drivin this thing around town! the clutch is grabing perfect, just abotu midway through the pedal. he thinks its the throwout bearing. im thinkin its just his cable... what do you guys think??

Is it hard tog et into reverse? Stiff pedal may mean the begining of the end for the clutch.

it grinds sometimes, throw it in 1st for 2 inches and put it back in reverse and its totally smooth.

cmon, the real question is whos gen 1 DOESNT grind in reverse??? headbang
