Stereo question

Does anyone know how many speakers we have and if there is one under the dash above the center stack? Thanks

If you have Sony system it's 10 speakers and yes there is a center channel. Should be easy to see, it's a speaker grill with Sony on it

There's one in each door, tweeters in the windshield pillars, one under the center of dash, two subwoofers in the rear deck, one center image speaker in the rear deck (under the "Sony" grill). I didn't find any tweeters in the rear when I had the rear package tray removed.

After looking around on Crutchfield I think it goes like this for speaker size:

Dash-3.5
Front door- 6x8
Rear Door-6x8
Rear Deck-6x9

That sure looks about right. I didn't measure the subs in the rear deck, but they appear to be 6x9. The front doors look to be 6x8 and I would imagine rear doors are the same. If the front dash speaker is 3.5, that's probably the same as the center rear. It was small and round, 3.5 inch would be about right.

Sterling, you might check to see if your audio is set to "Surround Sound" in the DSP settings. If it's just set to "Stereo" it may not utilize the center speakers front and rear.
