Stereo "Half Works"

When I got my car some thing was unplugged, and the stereo didn't do any thing but turn on...... Also the EATC unit doesn't do any thing but turn on heat.......

I plugged what I found back in, under the dash, and the stereo worked (not sure about EATC) and then it stopped again (blown fuse I'd suspect)

I have no idea what's causing it as of yet.... Any ideas?

have you done any work recently in the dash area? make sure to re-check all of the connections.

and yes check all your fuses...thats the easiest spot to start, and most likely the problem.

I got a feeling it was disconnected to begin with cause fuses where popping.... I'm going to take out the stock stereo any how, if that doesn't cure it then I'll start looking for other connections to see if some thing needs cleaned or is grounding out..... I just hoped maybe some one had this problem before (well not that I want them to have the problem, but so they could tell me what it was)
