So yesterday I was connecting my new 850 cca battery because I had only a 425 cca battery and I plan on putting in a sound system in the future plus the car had trouble starting when hot and and I was talking to someone as I was replacing it and the positive accidentally touch the negative for about three to five seconds (still my fault for not paying attention) and I saw a cloud of smoke and then I noticed the wire burnt off the starter solenoid so I replaced the solenoid (had a new one in the backseat since I replaced the radiator and starter the night before) and crimped a new endlink on the wire put the nuts back on and it started right back up. Problem is that it blew the fuse in the #4 spot and the one inside my radio. The only one that would go in the #4 spot without blowing the second I put it in is a 30a (supposed to be a 15a) then replaced the radio fuse turn on the radio and it makes a horrible noise no matter the volume level. I'm assuming I shorted out another wire as well if anybody could give me some info as to what I messed up I would really appreciate it thank you in advance!
