While driving my sho the steering wheel shakes uncontrollably from side to side. I mean I am able to drive the car, but obviously have stopped before I damage anything else. There is a long story to this whole situation, but I really don't want to get into it because it ****** me off. I was wondering if anybody has any answer to what this problem could be. I was thinking possibly a tie rod or the axle? Any help would be awesome because I am looking to get it fixed asap and restore it once again. Ahh these damn SHOs are addictive.

I was guess a dangerously worn tie rod

Check the wheel bearings too. If they go there can be disasterous results (from what I hear...)

I get the same symptoms if the front brake rotors are warped, which is a common occurrence, especially if the tire guy isn't careful to torque the wheels properly.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I'm going to jack the front end up tomorrow and see if any part has any play. I will let you know what the problem ends up being.

My bet is front rotors/tie rod as best case scenario. Worst case is wheel bearings
