I was looking to rice up my car a bit and take the silver plastic piece that surrounds the buttons etc. on the steering wheel and wrap it in carbon. May be a dumb question but anyone know the easiest way to get it off?

According to Ford Since the material is made from recycled plastic it should clean up.I just want to make my alcantara new again. It feels so gross under my fingers in its grunge condition.

They should have never put alcantara on a steering wheel. Too many oils and dirt. Same with seats. Napped material is tough to keep nice with adult weight and friction on seat material. (insert inappropriate comments below)
