I changed my t-stat on sat and followed the directions on how to fill the coolant sys without too much hassle(shotimes). Last night after driving home, I heard air bubbles passing through the upper hose after eng shut down. Then on the way to work this morning I was in stop and go traffic (45deg weather) and saw steam coming from the front of my hood. My gauge never read above the "L" at any time. What should I do from here?

Lt the car run for bit, until it is pretty warm, and pop the hood to see if its eaking around the area where you changed it. Did you get the gasket that fits around the Thermostat? Mine was leaking, and took some very careful manouvering to tighten it.. you can see the coolant from the leak in my sg. :D Good luck

Also if it is not leaking look down around the tranny and see if when you changed it that maybe some coolant drained down and pooled on top in some of the many creveses. If so it will take motor and tanny getting up to operating temp for a pretty good period before it will start to burn off. Hence the steam you saw not happening right away.
