Stater install.

Stater install?

I pulled my starter on 1st gen cause it was laging. Now im installing a new one and the cable that screws on the back is giving me problems. There was a bracket on the old one. Was it sapposed to go there? It seems like the cable will hit the oil filter and is too close to the exhaust pipe.

Any one have some pictures of an install? This should be easy, I feel stoopid!

I fixed it.

Just to let you guys, I fixed it. Starts so fast now! But as soon as I did. My thermastat is on the way out. Iv'e had my sho for 2 1/2 years. havent had it on the road more than 5 months total. Feels like a bum deal!
