I had discovered that with the blast of warm weather my sho was over heating. Looking thru the prices for water pumps and settling on a reasonable priced on I replaced it along with the thermostat. In doing so I replaced all the parts back in order and in pretty much the same fashion I removed them. but now my sho wont start! The first turn it sputtered and coughed. Then it just cranks. I made sure ample fuel was in it and all connections were in line. But still no start.
Can anyone help me!!??

I'm guessing your cps is now out of whack. You may have moved or damaged it during the water pump replacement. Either that or the DIS isn't grounded well. Does the tack stay at 0 while cranking? If so, CPS for sure.

Where are the DIS or the CPS. And how can I fix the problem?

The DIS is the Gray rectangular piece at the end of your intake with the wire connectors on each side. The intake bolts near it also act as a ground so make sure they're on there and secure. The CPS is the crank position sensor. You can see the wires leading to it while looking at the water pump. For good instruction procedures go to the shotimes faq. You can find a link to it at shoclub.com. Go to the care and feeding of the SHO section I think.

Just want to add that the ground strap which grounds the DIS is mounted to the rear intake strut (support brace) passengers side. Make sure it is clean and making good contact at both ends.
