Starters asap

im a poor bastard, and i need to get a new starter. no junkyards have sho starters, and a new one from auto zone is $130. will a starter from a 3.0 vulcan work? they LOOK identical, but will the teeth match?

Remanned starter from AZ for my 89 was only 60 bucks or so back in January.

You didn't mention what year or tranny you have so that may not apply.

If you're really in a pinch, I have a freshly rebuilt ATX starter that I can send you and trust you to send back your old starter in a couple of weeks if that'll help you out.

I wouldn't mind hearing from a couple of forum 'regulars' who can vouch that you're a good guy and I can count on you to follow through on your end. (Mods - which is why I posted this offer in the forum and not via email if you wouldn't mind letting it slide...)

I could drop it in the mail as early as tomorrow (Sat.). Just let me know via email.
