Starter Wiring? Quick ? *PICS

Okay like my unorganized forgetful self, once again should have paid closer attention to the how I take things apart :D

I have a little bracket with a bolt, that I removed when the starter was removed and now I can't remember where it goes and how the + wire is attached.

Heres a pic of the bracket (dont know where it goes)

Heres a pic of the + wire with another bracket that is already loosley held on there with a bolt

Umm, FWIW it's just a bracket that holds one of the wires, so if you can't figure out where it goes, as long as none of the wires can move into a position where they might be damaged, just leave it out. It's not going to impact the starting, running, or driving of the car.

Gen I, sorry. I dont care about the bracket now. Does anyone know where the positive wire attaches. It looks to have to small of a hole for the bolt I have to fit through.

If someone could just take a look at their GenI starter and help me out that would be MUCH appreciated.

thanks

The first photo is of a cable clamp. I don't recall seeing it before.

The positive cable from the starter relay connects to the angled piece of metal that is shown in the second photo hanging in front of the oil filter and the exhaust port. The conductive bracket then mounts to the starter's electrical terminal.

I replaced my batt cables

and it looks like the hook that keeps the wire loom in place on one of the sides of the engine if my memory serves me correctly.

I am sure this is all dust in the wind, but I had two cents to spend! LOL
