My early starter has part number E3EF 11051 AA. Are there any other starters that will replace it? It has a very strange solenoid,it's kinda flat, not round like most, and has a foot that rides on the armature. Thanks in advance for any help.. Butchman

All SHO starters will bolt up and work. Preferably a 93-95 would be the best bet.

I'd buy one locally with the reputation of remanufactured parts IMO. Not to take away from a vendor, but if you buy from autozone or advance, you'll get a lifetime warranty.

Not just SHOs, either. I used a Windstar starter on my engine, it was in better shape than the SHO starter. I also have a Ranger starter that fits great.
