I haven't really started digging yet, and have my own theories on this but I figured I'd ask here first. Got it up and running. Change the oil (had 3+ quarts of gasoline in it from them cranking the **** out of it. All because of a ground missing :snicker: So anywho, The cooling fan is not coming on when it should. If I unplug the coolant temp sensor it will come on, which tells me the CCRM is working properly. My question is, how do you test the drop resistor? Keep in mind I really havent looked into this yet, So any advice will be taken!

TIA

The 90 uses a single speed fan. No dropping resistor. Verify the car has a type M IRCM.

Use your IR thermometer on the thermostat housing and verify the fan comes on around 210-215F or whenever the A/C is turned on.

BTW, finally dropped the oil pan on my 89 this week. Spun bearing on #4. Wife wants me to put it out to pasture....
