Funny things only happen when the girlfriend drives the car.......
I have been away from my SHO for 5 months now because I am out on deployment in the Navy. Here is the description as best as I can tell from the story I got from my girl. The SHO starts fine as if nothing is wrong and continues to idle and warm up fine. When you back out then proceed to take off it is also fine. She said when you start to accelerate and get to the point of needing to shift into second gear, the engine starts stalling and dying out. As soon as the engine is started though, the Check Engine light comes on. Any ideas? I have ordered almost every sensor since I have been gone to replace when I get back so I wouldn't have any problems; but it looks like one beat me to it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Pull the codes and see what the ecu tells you.

Cone Filter W/ heat shield
TB coolant Bypass
Bypassed a few "PCV" lines
Lighting mods
Convinience mods
More to come.

I am currently 7000 miles away from the car. I have bought all of the sensors already and have them at home. I was just wondering if anyone has had these symptoms before so I could tell my roommate to change out the particular sensor since I cannot run the codes. (Keep in mind my roommate isn't very mechanically inclined)! Thanks for any help or suggestions.
