While I am city driving especially when I slow down for traffic in front of me or at stop lights, my car wants to stall out and it generally will 90% of the time then sometimes it will not do it at all. My CEL is not on. The idle is fine in neutral or park it does not lope or appear to be irradic. I was thinking the TPS could be the problem BUT my CEL is not on.. so I was gravitating more towards bad ground somewhere and/or vacuum leak. Anyone have any suggestions where to start? The last thing I want to do is throw parts at it...It is a 1994 3.2 ATX with over 309,000 on it. Thanks for any and all suggestions/input...:)

Water pump/crank sensor.

Slowing down is what makes the water pump puke on the sensor.

Yeah, the only time I have had a crank sensor problem, it did not ever set a code. It started with occasional stalling when hot, then progressed to pretty much stalling whenever it decided to - change it sooner rather than later....
