Do any of the Gateway SHO owners plan on having a meet anytime soon? If not, lets see if we can get something going. burnout I've been patiently awaiting to meet some StL SHO enthusiasts.

I'm with you. I'd really like to get another schedule meet on the calendar. Last one was a bust and we haven't had any luck getting any interest thru this forum to schedule another one. Perhaps we'll attempt an early spring meet later this year and see how many participants we can get. There are a lot of SHO owners in this area, just hard to find a time for everyone to meet.

With the recent news that the Blue Gen I on ebay is coming to the St. Louis area, perhaps we should attempt to have a SHO gathering.

Sean, you out there? I'd really like to see that thing in person. Enjoy it!

I'm still around. How about a road trip to Florida?

Yeah I'm out here. I have been pretty busy lately, but you are correct about one thing, a nice 91 blue sho is coming to town. Sadly mine was distroyed about a month ago by a huge moving semi. I will give more details later, but we difinitly need a spring meet...

John, what's the status of the "project" your son was working on? Road trip to FL huh? What, you wanting to get away from the freezing temps?!!

Sean, keep us posted. I had heard about your accident but didn't get any of the details. Glad you are alright!

Anybody up for the World Ford Challenge May 13-16? I'm game! burnout
Do you have any further information on the details? I don't believe Gateway has updated their website yet for 2004 activities.

If we get a group going, any interest in meeting somewhere before heading across the river? Someplace to eat, etc.?

That is all I know for now. But I'm game for a place to meet to get a bite to eat. Anybody else?

As more info becomes available, please post the details.

I'm sure we can decide on someplace to meet prior to the event and grab something to eat.

I'd still be interested in seeing if we can manage to have a get together sometime in late April.

Sean, when is the blue SHO arriving? You have any plans for it or just leaving it as is?

The project is dynamically inactive, meaning nothing is going to happen until; A) he gets a job to fund the project, B)it gets warm.

For those not up on the project, it is to turbocharge an 89 3.2. It's a big project especially when you're 19.

I want to make sure that the St. Louis crowd is aware of Steve Weinrich's "projectSHO89" loss of his son. Bizzy was kind enough to relay the news in the open forum but I wanted to post it again here in case someone overlooked that forum's post.

Steve's Loss

Again, my thoughts and prayers go out to Steve's family.

I'm back from Iraq, and if by chance in town am all for a meet.

Fricker, I still have the large box of shims, and must soon do an "upper" on "Greenie". I have a beautiful Hypercoat (slow, but he does a great job) intake and valve covers to replace original during the procedure (the 60k was done by original owner, but plug well gaskets are shot.) "Big Red" is coming out of the garage in TN, will receive Tokico/Eibach, Cobras w/Kumho 225/55-17, and be a trip car.

Sean, sorry to hear your ride met an ill fate. I gather you have obtained a replacement.

Glad to know you're back safe and sound, Mongo oops, now it's Dostum! Jerry Mullner had just been asking about you recently too.

I'm all for having a sort of get together soon. My tax busy season is about to ease up so I'll have a few weekends to myself later in April and May. Any thoughts on setting something up for May. Is the World Ford Challenge still something you all are planning on attending?

Sean has quite the replacement for his lost 91 Green Plus. He's got a well done Blue 91 with all kinds of goodies installed. No power adders but tons of bolt ons. It's very nice indeed!!!

Here's my attempt to set a date:

How about the first Saturday of June? It gives us plenty of time to mark our calendars. Talk about location. And even dispute the date. Come on all you St. Louis folk, let's hear your thoughts. I look forward to seeing you guys soon. :thumbs_u:
