Okay, here it is. The "Official St. Louis gas-price watch thread".


Please post the lowest price you've see in the St. Louis area. The challenge is " . . . less than two dollars a gallon . . . .", according to 'the challenge' (you had to be at the after-meet meet, to understand the nature of this challenge).

Seen this evening - $2.41 - in Baden (North Broadway).


Lowest in the area, according to St. Louis Gas Prices.com, is $2.19 in several St. Louis suburbs . . . .

Seen today - $2.39 at Conoco - in north St. Louis (North Broadway), and $2.19 at the QuikTrip near Harbor Freight, in St. Peters (how fitting !).


Lowest in the area is now $2.14 in several St. Louis suburbs (St. Louis Gas Prices.com).

Seen today in north St. Louis (Jennings Station Road) - $2.19 at Phillips 66 !


Lowest on (St. Louis Gas Prices.com) in the area is now $2.14 in numerous St. Louis suburbs and $2.04 at quite a few of the member-clubs (ie. CostCo, Sam's, etc.)


Looks like someone may have to beat (errr. eat) their words . . . .
