is anyone gonna be heading up for this. i know most of you will probably think it's a far ways away or something, but if anyone is going, holla back, so we can make a plan to meet up. i'll be there thursday, friday and saturday, mostly doing stuff saturday, just there for the parade thursday, and a little bit of cruising friday.

parade is thursday at 7 p.m.
friday, i think is a cruise night sponsered by the casino or something? they're charging money to do it or something, not sure how they'll enforce it though.
saturday is like the last day of it, with most of the vendors going full tilt during the day. then every one cruises after they take everything down, usually takes them about 2 hours, between 5-7, so you can cruise US-2 for awhile while they're doing that.

I did make St Ignace, but damnnnn, was it hot. Didn't help I took the car with no AC either. I was only there from about 1 to 5, then hit the road for home. The actual show is tomorrow, Saturday, so all the cars were just hanging out or crusin today. Most of the classic rods must be owned by retired guys, I was about the youngest there today!!

Oh yeah, I was beside some young guys in a silver Gen III,,and I told him to get a V6 because they are faster!!!!! Great looking SHO it was, it's just that I'm partial to the V6s. He probably thought I was some sort of weird old dude, especially since I was in the Wah-Goon at the time.
I didn't buy any fudge, that will give me an excuse to drag the wiffie up there for the 4th.

I was there and all i have to say is OH MY BOOBS!

i was idlin the SHO-N-GO crusing down the main street... and some chicks in a car pulled up- id say decently pretty... in a yellow srt-4 w/ lightning stripes... 4 girls... 8 boobs! lol they revved it up and took off.
over by the airport gettin outta the town a 93 5.0 came up that was blown and got my my tail and got it sideways. i dropped into 1st cuz i was crusin @ around 25mph... and he freaked out about how fast i pulled away.

Anyways it was a blast... i seen Rick crusin by, and i revved the sho up and he looked... but didnt get to meet him.

i must of been in left field or something, cause i can't remeber seeing any sho's other than that silver gen 3. it was ok this year, but it seems to be less and less people every year. probably cause the cops cracking down so much. this year they were yelling at people for there neon's and at the low riders for using there hydro's. kind of lame if you ask me. i mean, there was some prominent groups that didn't even show up this year, like the viper club from D-Town. oh well i guess. but yeah, boobs galore.

Keep us posted when it's going to be next year, a little more advanced planning and more could have gone up, myself included. Wish I could have gone this year, but my middle boy is in summer school and I didn't have enough time to arrange for someone to take him to and from.

yeah its definitly worth going to... sorta sucks crusin the streets w/ such a stiff clutch going 1 mph and stopping every 5 seconds...
my legs were numb by the 2nd pass through St. Ignace.

2 hrs 22 minutes to go 1/2 mile???? Whoa, glad I parked the car and walked!! Actually Friday was no problem as far as traffic was concerned.
Bret, you're gonna have to grap some of the guys and drag them down for the Woodward Dream Cruise. You could get there in about the same amount of time!! Did you get my messages Friday? The answering machine gave no name, hope I dialed the right number.
Beth, the St Ignace show is always the last weekend in June. The preceeding weekend is Antiques On The Bay, restored old cars, no hot rods.
How about the Frankenmuth car show? Its usually the weekend after Labor Day. No SHOs allowed though, need to be 25 or older to get in.

Yes i did get your messages... i was rushing all day to try and get my intake on... which didnt happen so i had to take everything off my new one and put it back on the old one, since i cant figure what the three holes on the upper right bend of the pelenuems are.... since it is a air opening to the intake it self.

Sorry i couldnt meet up with you, i ended up camping in my tent with some buds last nite
