I've never removed a cam to remove the head. It's a tight fit, but I can get my socket in there. Pat ground his socket down to fit with ease.

Get yourself a 10mm allen wrench and cut the 90 degree end off. Now you have a long and strait 10mm allen that you can put a scocket over and remove all the yamaha heads you want.

I should have patented the idea.:)

Something was mentioned that peaked my interest. 3.2 Swap with a 3.0 cam, what does that do to the 3.2 over the stock 3.2 cam? Where does the torque change if it's being borrowed from other areas like other cams would, and would you have to drop out of 5th to pass someone?

Just saying. just about whatever you are planning this will end up being cheaper if your SHO is in the 3 year plan.

I had triflow cams in my turbo ATX and it did loose power under 4K BUT it moved my useable power from a max of 6500rpm to 7500rpm which worked well to spool the 67mm turbo. I ran a 8500rpm rev limiter, and it pulled good to 7500 allright to 8K and just made noise all the way to 8500. It was best if I shifted around 7 but seemed to work well if I shifted at 7500rpm

my other high rpm videos were deleted, and I honestly don't remember if I had cams in this video or not... I don't think I did. I will look for the videos again. I know toolman has a copy of them somewhere.

Boost=the only mod an SHO needs.[As far as power goes]Anything else is a waste of money .02 .

^ This. You will **** BOOKOOO bucks into a SHO trying to build one NA. You want 300Hp+. Save your self a big headache and a lot of $ and just boost it.

Trust me. I know.
