Now what? I touched on this briefly before in another thread thinking it was a tranny mount but I don't think so.
The gearshifter squeeks ALOT when I get on the power or let off the power.
I got underneath it and soaked it in Slick 50 One ****, but that has not helped.
The bolts that connect the whole mechanism to the car are tight, nothing wrong there.
However, if I hold the black casing and move it, I can get it to squeek.
Under the torque of the engine, it squeeks very loud.
So, I don't think it's the tranny mount because I can get it to squeek by just pulling or pushing on the casing underneath.
Now what and most importantly, how much?
I would appreciate anyone's help before I go through the usual SHO ownership trouble shooting standard of replacing many high priced parts
to no avail.

Thanks.

Mine does the same thing, just not as loud. I believe on mine anyway, the bushing inside the box needs to be greased. Mine is actually worn out and has some mucho slop in it. I tried the "u-joint" but that has no slop whatsoever. Nothing else but that bushing to be bad. 20$ from Shonut. Let me know.
