I have a '93 ATX with about 155K miles on it. I've been driving it and lately I have noticed a very distinct sqeaking noise whenever i turn the steering wheel. Also, whenever I go over speed bumps, the same sqeaking noise appears. Could it be the struts. Also, I heard a rumor that the car could have electronic struts the cost a lot of money. Please help with any suggestions.

to the best of my knowledge. no Gen 2had electronic struts. i had mine replaced (92) about 2 months ago. the struts cost more than some cars, but they aren't electronic.... sound right everyone?

No Gen I or Gen II SHOs had electrically adjustable struts. I think smokesho meant to say that they cost more than "ON" some cars, not that they cost more than some cars. How old are the struts? Struts don't usually squeak. Sway bar bushings and links can squeak.

I belive it could be your tie rod ends. Fords are notorious for bad tie rod ends in a short amount of time. Is it more like a creaking noise than a squeak? If so than I'd definitely lean towards the tie rod ends. They're cheap money but you should get an alignment done afterward which will cost you another 40-60 bucks.
