Does anyone spray a dry nitrous shot before the maf and allow the ECM to add the extra fuel instead of using the part that tee's into the fp reg??

I know others do this on Mustangs,Camaros, and pretty much anything else with a mass air sensor so I don't see why it wouldn't work??

Anyone here ever try it?? I'm thinking of spraying 50-75.....with an upgraded fuel pump of course.

That really depends on how well your injectors can handle the load without additional assist. The post MAF dry kits bump the fuel pressure, effectively making the injectors larger.

Nope. The added fuel from the pressure regulator works just fine.

I realize the part that tee's into the pressure regulator works fine(1st nitrous kit ever was on a 95 honda accord back in 1995 and I had a mustang dry kit spraying 100hp)

Being as the factory injectors on the 3.2 are supposedly 24.4#,they should support around 315-320hp at the crank at 40psi.

I know a SHO with all bolt on's will be in the 200-215whp range so I know it has Enuff injector for a 50-75hp hit.

My question is tho has any1 sprayed b4 the maf?? I know gm guys do it all the time with huge shots(heard of over 300hp),but not many folks doing it with fords....and supposedly ford has a better maf than gm(a guy named red Armstrong,a gn vendor/chip burner who has a 9 sec 1/4 t type used to sell a kit using the lightning maf saying it was superior to any gm maf, other gn chip burners use gm maf's,specifically the ls1/lt1 maf, also zr1 maf)

I have yet to see anyone with a SHO do it. I spray my car at a 100 shot post MAF. Work's fine.

What Fuel pump are you using? I sprayed and 100 shot with a 190L pump, but it makes me a bit nervous. I'm thinking i'm at my limit with that

So all you guys spraying dry either use the a Zex kit with the NMU or the NOS kit with the "regulator" that tee's into your fp regulator vacuum line??

A 190lph pump flows enough fuel to support an all bolt on SHO with cams and a 150hp shot.....you'd probably be better off doing a "Hotwire" kit to your 190lph pump instead of changing to a 255lph. A Hotwire kit takes power from the back of the alternator and sends 14+ volts to the fuel pump(most cars have a lot of resistance in factory wring making pump see prob 12.8-13.2 volts making for less output)

Personally,I think Walbro's are JUNK and any vendor selling them should be ashamed for selling such garbage. I say this based on experience of several failed Walbro's and 1 bad out of the box pump. Walbro won't even warranty it until u give them $50 to test it!! I realize the failure were some years ago and I've been told they fixed the problems....

I now use the OEM Supra twin turbo Denso pump exclusively(over 320lph). Nothing is as reliable as Toyota oem parts.....Walbro's is the size of a can of red bull where the Denso is the size of a Coke can!!

I've replaced probably 15-20 failed Walbro's on Grand Nationals with Denso's and haven't had 1 failure in the 5-6 years of using them.

Google failed Walbro, bad Walbro, etc and you'll be shocked!!

Sorry for the rant but I freaking despise Walbro fuel pumps since I got the brand new bad one to replace 1 that failed(used alky inj kit to make it home!!)

I've also seen Walbro's fail in staged applications running multiple pumps and burn an engine up/hole a piston. $100 part failing and costing u a $5k-$10k engine isn't any good!!

I've been running many different Walbro's for at least a decade, running on gas and E85 and haven't experienced an issue. Currently, I have a Walbro 450 E85 hardwired in my STi.

I have had an "E85 compatible" Deatschwerks 320 lph pump fail within 20 miles though.

For the most part, if you're not boosting the fuel pressure, there isn't much need to hardwire a fuel pump 255 and smaller. Without the strain of raised fuel pressure, they generally keep up just fine without drawing the voltage down.

I'm running a zex kit with the NMU T-ed into the FPR. The only issue I noticed was slightly unequal cylinder filling. This was found by reading the plugs an likely due to my nozzle placement which is tapped into the TB.

Far from it. I'm using a 155lph pump with 3.2 Injectors.

I've also had very good luck with Walboro's and have yet to see someone post up about one failing in 12 years of being on this forum. They work in the SHO world anyways.
