Spout Out the answer if my timing is off.

Who has solved this elusive problem. I have searched and found No..definitive answer for the spout 10 degree timing default codes. Is there a specific "know" that someone could enlighten me on. Base timing I understand. DO I need to pull new wire from the ECM to the CID module to defeat
this code? Anyone have any thoughts on this subject?

Interesting?? What does a timing light show? Timing should advance to at least 30 degrees with the engine reved up a bit. Are there any other symptoms, like poor performance? And of course, what year.
