I see a couple problems with these. 1)the trunk lid is 55 1/2'' so there would be about a 1/4'' on both sides.. I dont know if that would look too off or not
2) the mounting. I have used the double sided tape before on the lund hood scoops. but since this is a spoiler, i dont think it can hold the downforce of it. granted the spoiler is not made to be functional. just for looks, IMO. But the drag that it will casuse may be too great for the 3m tape to hold. i mean that stuff is strong, dont get me wrong... but i just wouldnt want that thing flying off. So another means to mount it may be needed.

Other than that i think they might look good on the GenI. That is if problem number one isnt too bad.

Any comments? Suggestions? Im just brainstorming with these.. not set on buying one yet. Could though.

I love those little spoilers. IT would very nice if the SHO had more squareness to the back of the trunk lid.

You mean the gen2/3 sho?

If you could make it fit it would look sick. Not too much different than the plus wing. But why would you put a CF wing on a white car..thats just nonsense.

i dont think it will work on the genII though.

I have my spoiler on the 93. But, i think its about 54'' or so. Couldnt get the exact measurement casue the spoiler. But i did get pre and post spolier. So its somewhere close to 54''.... maybe a 92 owner could double check... allthough i dont think its gonna work. as the genII deck lid tapers off alittle towards the back.

On a gen1 just put a plus spoiler on it! Its the only one that will fit right & look good! My plus came with a 86 firebird spoiler & I'll admit it looked good, fit really well & matched all the curves. But I gave it away so I gotta put a plus spoiler on her to make it right!

Here is the only closeup pic of a plus spoiler I could find . Its on the 90 just after an ****** backed into her. We just had her towed home from the body shop today to reassemble & get her ready for convention.

While she was in we had a few areas refreshed:

Whatever you decide josh let me know the outcome and keep your eye out for me cuz this plus im buying the spoiler flew off so ive got to find a replacement. So far i havent had too much luck.
