My SHO speedometer head is squealing while driving, more now since it's cold outside than when it first started awhile ago.I have already removed the instrument cluster once and pulled the core from the drive cable in order to grease it. Still had the noise, pulled the cluster for a second time a few days later to try and **** the speedo head...no can do. It appears to be a one time assembled unit only with no way of disassembling it without ruining it. I checked into a new one at my dealer..part is obsolete. Any ideas???

If you're sure it's the head and not the cable, just try to find a cluster on eBay or at a junkyard. Have a speedo shop do the swap so they can adjust the odometer to reflect the correct mileage and certify it.
