Well I had ordered the face guages for my 92 with the 6 color option as well as the guage overlay. These have been a constant source of problems for me. The guage over lay with is the brushed aluminum has severly bubbled and no longer has its original look. The 6 color controler went out and now only shows blue. Also the faces hinder my tach which I tried to fix before but it didnt and well the controler was the last straw. This is highly disapointing. The only company to take intrest in the SHO for face guages screwed up. This cost me $190 for the whole set up and I would expect better. Thy originally sent me the wrong controler but they fixed that at no charge but well their product is not working out for me. Letting you guys know before you get your new sets, maybe they will fix it, and maybe they wont. I had the controller for only a couple of months and the guage overlay went bubbled not to long after getting it. Dont know if anyone else has had these kind of problems. Im just mad  right now. I just sent them a email about this and will be getting a response soon. Sorry for the long message.

Well I got an email from them. They garuntee that the new overlay will not bubble and that the one I got was from a bad batch. The also said they have redesigned the indeglo so it comes in 3 parts. So it will be easier to install. Also they have a new controller as well. They are offering free logos, or something so I will be happy :) with their product which is good. I guess this comes with buying from a new company. At least they are willing to make it up. I might get the new products, dont know yet.

I don't have any problems with my Speedhut gauge faces on my 95.

I ordered the standard white faces with the 2 color inverter. The EL panel needed a little trimming at the bottom between the speedo and tach and the speedo and water/fuel but it sounds like they are three pieces now so that shouldn't matter.

My inverter flickers on the "blue" setting so I just keep it on "green" no big deal. Last thing I wanna do is rip apart my dash to pull the inverter out.

As far as the tach binding (problem with mine initally) make sure you have a piece of tape above and below the hole for the needle on the tach overlay and if it still binds, just pull up the needle, gently (!!!!!!!!) pinch the brass sleeve a bit with pliars and put it back on so it's higher.

You can remove the needles by wedging a pair of wire cutters between the needle and gauge and carefully squeezing the cutters together... dangerous, to say the least! Proceed with caution. I can sell you a tach out of an 89 SHO that works :)

Overall, I like my speedhut gauges... there is a spot on the lower left corner of the water/fuel gauge that isn't covered - but it's only a hair line.

Jeff
