awesome:thumb: I have had mine for a few thousand miles mated with a 9lb fidazana flywheel. Its a bit tricky to drive at first but you get used to it. I will never buy a different clutch in my life, unless its an upgrade to the spec stage3:naughty:

personally i'm not having too much luck with the spec stage II clutch... im not too sure if its the clutch or other things... im gonna replace the cable and hopefully that clears some things up... right now it chatters... i can usually mask it (while its harder for someone who doesnt drive it) i installed everything correctly, so im not real sure on what is wrong with it... but in its favor it does grab very strong and is light enough to drive reasonably on the street

As someone who has sold about 50+ SPEC clutches I can say that the stage2 is the most complained about SPEC model ever. It has to do with the friction material and the fact it's a full face disk.

Every complaint I've ever had (about 4 total including the above) have all been on stage 2's. Not just SHO's either. when I talk to SPEC about them they tell me the same thing.

"The stage 2 material is a finicky material....break it in properly and then pound the **** out of it."

thats exactly what they told me...

i was mostly worred that my tranny would recieve damage... since sometimes the "chatter" was the driveline shaking... its a good clutch... but i wouldnt buy another one... unless maybe i had more power that would warrant one... hmmmm

on another note... i broke my clutch in for +500 miles, but as to how much was hwy and city... idk... so maybe i didnt properly break it in... i know i did baby it for awhile though, thats when the guy @ SPEC told me to "pound the **** outta it" so I did... maybe i did too soon, but i do know that there was a very significant chatter when i first drove it... it has seemed to have gone away to a mild chatter... and i have ALSFB and a urethane front MM... soooooooo take that into consideration...

It also matters what your'e planning on doing to your car... I plan on spraying the car... and then possibly some boltons/cams too, so its probably a good idea to have the stg 2... if i were just going to spray it id stay with a stage one or even an updated stock version (bigger PP rivets atleast) if youre just gonna run the car stock with maybe a couple boltons, or you just drive "spirited" id stick with the stage one.... to me it seems like thats youre best bet...
