So I noticed that only the speakers on the passanger side of my 91 were putting out sound. So I took out the frons speaker on the driver's side and noticed it wasn't the same as the passanger side one. So now I have two premium audio system speakers on the front and two jbl speakers in the back. after I put everything back together I turned on the radio and found that even with the volume all the way up there is barely any sound coming out of the whole system. Now the sound is coming out all speakers evenly but barely at all.

It might be possible that your factory amp has taken a crap. You can bypass the amp with an aftermarket head unit, and using the optional factory speaker connection mounted to the side bracket inside the deck opening. You would need a different connection, but this would be provided in the aftermarket wiring harness kit you would have to, or had purchased for a snap and plug install.
