Speaker Size?

What size and brand of speakers/tweeters fits under the dash pad in a Gen 1.
I am looking to replace these while replacing my heater core.

I think it is 3".I ordered some Fosgate Punches to go in my dash but found out I would have to cut holes.
I don't know why they were not cut out at the factory?

3.5" They are a common size. Many manufacturers have them and they are usually pretty reasonable priced.
