I replaced a 6 plugs and as soon as I started the car, the engine light came on. I then changed both 02 sensors and still the same. What can I try next?

Thanks,
Doug

Pull your codes!

Without them, you're stuck with performing a visual inspection of each connector that you may have worked with.

Most likely, you missed connecting something back up.

Make sure you have all the wires on all the way. I changed the plugs in my sisters Focus a little while ago and the CEL came on. Turns out one of the wires wasn't pushed on all the way. Hasn't been back on.

+1

If you removed the intake to do it , it just might be a connector you forgot , or a stupid vac hose. Codes will tell ya where to look.

Thanks

It ended up being a lose EGR sensor. Fixed it and no more light.

Now I'm on to installing my CAI and new struts.

Thanks
Doug
