I'll bring my spare set of plug wires down this weekend. You can replace your defective one with ine of mine till you can get a new set.

I'll call you when I get down there, probably Sunday morning.

Congratulations on finding the problem.

Look back to my first post in this thread and you will see what I suggested first on my list of possible causes.

That shop scope, which, of course, I don't have either, would have found this almost immediately. However, the symptoms did point to this being a susupect.

I guess it just shows that just because a part was replaced, doens't mean it was good to start with.
