Well, I finally found my misfire. Plug wire number 1 has a very small hole in the boot that fits over the spark plug causing it to arch. This is with 30K motorcraft wires. Is there any way to just get a new rubber boot to go over the end to repair it? I did buy some AC Delco wires and replaced just the one wire, but It would be even better if I could just repair the motorcraft wire. Maybe if any of you have an extra set of old plug wires, you could just send me a boot??? Thanks for any ideas.

Unless you have your own crimpers and what not, do not just replace the boot, replace the wire.

P.S. I did the same thing after I did my plugs.

It's not the entire boot though, just the little rubber donut that goes around the end. I'm sure I could just swap a new one on there and be OK?
