Thumbs up for Joe Scott at SP Motorsports - he's getting my Performance Plus Y-Pipe sent out to me 2nd day, direct from PP. Here's character - after begging for him to bail me out, I ask him if he's got some in stock. "Yes, but they're slated for other cars - sorry". That's straight up. Don't steal from one guy to ship out to another guy. Ethics. I love it!

Of course, everyone wants to be on the receiving end of "help me out, buddy", but I have more respect for a shop that walks the straight line.

It is, in fact, here! When Joe says it apples, it's APPLES!

Performance Plus Y-Pipe = VERY NICE QUALITY!!! I'm impressed. The only design flaw I see is the cats are welded, not bolted in. With Stainless Steel, the tubing will outlive the cats - why not bolt cats in & make them replaceable?

I just got mine in the mail as well, Fred and I was pretty impressed with the workmanship here as well, but I did notice what you did. I guess this way they can sell us another one for $500!! The thing looks pretty impressive though..IN MY CLOSET!!! I can't afford to put it on until I get my 60k parts and labor paid for :^( Oh well, in good time!!!!

Jeremy -
IF you have ramps, jack stands, whatever, and a couple of basic hand tools, YOU CAN DO IT! You need an $8 graphite seal for the bottom of the Y Pipe & some liquid wrench. It's really not hard, & will take all of an hour.

Yea, sdpatt told me the same thing, that we could do it in about an hour at his house when we did 60k. I want to do the entire exhaust at the same time, and I ordered the shoshop cat back exhaust from slow ass vladim, so I wanted to wait for it all to come in at once... Plus, if it doesn't come out even on both sides, I will need a shop with a mandrel bender to even out the pipes coming out the back of the car. I already have a shop lined up to do the labor that works on 1/4 mile cars here in west texas. He comes highly recommended from some high performance 'stang owners in the area. (One works for me)
