SHO--ripper

Has anyone tried this clutch with a blower SHO? Is it worth the $465 or is there a cheaper and better alternative? THANKS!

It was Panama Pat. IIRC, it was a 4 or 6-puck with semi-metallic on the FW side and Kevlar on the PP side with a single diaphragm pressure plate. It slipped.
Kevlar friction materials require horrific amounts of clamp load to work well, and their coefficient of friction tends to decrease as they get hot, which (IMO...) is an undesirable characteristic for a clutch lining. I doubt you'll get blower-level torque reliably through a Kevlar lining with a single diaphragm pressure plate.
