i think theres a load of people in this thread that should all buy v6 mustangs, insist the car is a highly modded v8, and run around telling people they only race for pinks or large sums of money.

meatheads ....

Dude. Really. You just dont get it. This is the internet. This is SHOForum. Everyone here is a nutswinger, obviously you included. For focksake.... Ask a question. Now We're getting burned for asking how he did it? Asking how he did it on stock boost... Oh wait, it wasnt...???

Beefcake, I am proud to have you here, dragging your nuts and being proud of running 12's. I really am.

This forum (for the most part) is for learning, and sharing information. (let me turn into a nutswinging fock for a minute here and ask you to share your information so you can help our community) So what do you say? Help our community out and share some information so that we can "as a whole" make this car fast?

This thread sounds more like it belongs more on /b/ than SHOForum with the number of asshats posting in it.

The guy posted threads about the time he is running and what the new SHO is capable of, not what mods he has. Furthermore, he NEVER stated that he was running stock boost in this thread, it was you people that apparently doesn't know how to comprehend assuming he was.

How about this; you asshats read the OP's posts, understand what he's saying with the words he typed, THINK (an important step here) about what he's saying, then post an intelligent reply or question.
If you want to call him out on things you have issues with, that's cool; but at least get your facts straight before you do so. It might save you from looking like an idiot later on.

Wow guys, way to ruin a cool thread.

I came back to shoforum to read up on what has been happening with the new sho and find someone has broken into the 12s! That's awesome man, with only 4-5 psi more boost too! This heavy sedan mildly modded will beat my modded cobra! Thats nuts!

Then I have to sift through all the BS in the rest of the thread. Not impressed.

Guess I wont stick around to read further info on the new shos.

Assphault and St. Louis are just jealous *******. Crying about, "he didn't tell me everything he had done"

Beefcake isn't entitled to tell you anything really. He has no obligation at all to even post on here. Haters at their finest in this thread.

:oogle: whoa....

first off, congrats on the times, man! 12s are rare air for a SHO, much less one that's got so few mods. Nice to see you're being a pioneer and seeing what works. I'm eager to see what'll happen with some hard parts bolted on. Keep up the good work and keep us posted!!

now to address the absurdly high levels of douchebaggery currently dripping from this thread..

why on earth would you guys take it upon yourself to clutter up a fella's thread with a bunch of mindless jargon when the OP's breaking new ground with every thread he writes? I mean, this guy's been under attack since he started posting here. Why? Cuz he knows his shit and doesn't take any from you? That's my guess. How bout instead of criticizing everything he does, dig the sand out of your **** and either offer something constructive or shut the f*ck up?

Does this mean this is another new world record?

Wow. I automatically assumed that he was running more boost when he said that he had a tune. It's a turbo charged car; most tunes for turbo cars up the boost. Chill out and relax people.

First off, congratulations on the run and the progressive way you worked through the tuning process. Great results.

As to the left turn taken by so many voices on this thread, you need to learn to re-read your postings before you hit "Submit Reply". Read and ask yourselves "Are my comments adding or subtracting to the quality of this forum"? Are you building up or knocking down? Is this what you want to be known by? Then and only then, hit either the submit or delete button.:salute:

Beefcake, do you plan on taking the car to a dyno anytime soon? It'd be nice to know what kind of numbers you're making.

Congrats.

First of all can we stop arguing it's pointless. Beefcake has to post his results on like 15 different forums maybe he forgot to put boost in his post but I also assumed he had to add a few pounds in the process. He probably didn't want to mention the passenger seat out in the previous runs because it is the same as an average guy driving with a passenger seat in. You made the poor guy have to give out his weight! He doesn't even have to post on here if he doesn't want to so don't persuade him to stay elsewhere.

I'm proud of what he's doing and I'd like to read the threads he posts with good comments and info this was a waste of 10 minutes reading an argument hoping to get to some good info..

ive removed all of my posts.

i apologize if the fact i dont just buy everything someone says on an internet forum.

i apologize if i like people who claim things to add how they got there.

from now on ill just assume that everything on shoforum is that of gospel and requires no disclosure of facts to back up claims.

Beefcake. yes i am on your ass about your car. mostly its because i come from a forum where when you say you ran a time, its expected that you add what you did to get that time in detailed facts.

good luck with your car.

im done.

Curt.

What's wrong with a little more PSI? I mean, people here are running 15lbs....and are flying down the quarter mile at 13.9. :laugh_ti:

It's been said again and again, the gen1/2/3 is not a 1/4 mile car.

You guys think this is bad? Wait until he posts his 12.5 @110! Because it's going to happen.

Congrats man, I never thought that with minor modding a 2010 could be at my heels(as far as trap goes). Really proving the potential of these cars.

to be honest, i thought i was very forthcoming with info. when i said we added some more "juice" i really thought everyone would understand

i mean, the car already picked up 7 tenths from timing and a/f changes, wasn't much more left in a base tune.

i got nothing to hide and never have on any car i've had. thats my 4th trip out since getting the car 3 weeks ago, and i've tried to give out all the info from each run.

i guess i should also mention i had the 1lb engine cover removed for the runs too lol

i'll continue to post the info as i get it

there is still more in that tune, it was the first chance to try it out on the track there are a couple little stumble points, i'm hoping to get a wide band in the car this week and do some data logging on it

i updated the pic of the timeslip, scanned it so it's a little easier to read

i did get a good launch pic from the photography guys there, i'll try to take a pic of the pic lol, the car actually squats good

I can't wait till the real modding starts. I can see it cracking 11s with ease...that is if the drivetrain doesn't crack.

Good job!
