thats a pretty important part of the story.

now the pieces make a puzzle work. but how about you be completely forthcoming in the mods you do. this back door talking about what you have done is annoying.

just call it how it is.

wtf are you talking about

i've posted up every time i've been to the track,

stock 13.84

1st torrie tune 13.52

2nd torrie tune 13.13

md tune 12.75

what back door shit

the only point to the air filter is so you can hear the boost. torrie said it affected the tune 0000000000000000000000000000000

you act like there is some secret magic

the ***** car is missing the passenger seat, woopty doo, it's still 4550 without the seat. i'm 285, so it's the equivalent of a 210 pound guy running the car, it's not frikin rocket science bro

Well seeing is beleiving, I made a call to a freind at the NMRA and the car number and Terrys name matches everything.. Good job.

But I do find it funny that Mod Depot had the code for the new SHO already. But who cares thats just awesome.. IM starting on the exhaust system testing this week..

Not sure why you guys are giving beefcake beef. He is under no obligation to give out any information on his tune. Perhaps his first post was not explicit in mentioning a boost increase, or a seat removal, but come on, he is voluntarily ringing the snot out of a brand new 40k SHO, and coming here and willingly sharing his experiences, and every part of what it has taken to get a 2010 in the 12's. Were I an outsider, or perhaps a new 2010 owner looking at the forum, it would appear that some of you are jealous/threatened/or just jerks. Lay off the guy, really.

Really Tim? I dont give a flying f*ck if he went 12's... good for him. Yay! Want me to nut-swing? No. I want to have the truth told on how he did it. Weight reduction, boost upgrade, well no shit the car is going to be faster.... Am I an idiot?, no.... Just trying to get the story told right and fair. Not so someone goes and buys an SHO, buys a $600 mail order tune.... and tries to duplicate these numbers. That is all.....

why? they had my car all day tuesday and wednesday this week.

ken lives 2 minutes from my work and picked the car up both days and had it for about 10 hours

torrie did text me this morning and said he had a file for me with more boost, but i'd already had a tune from MD on friday, it just needed some tweaking

Modular Depot has some of the fastest cars in the country and set up a ton of drag / road race cars from all over the country and world, and they are an SCT Dealer

i'd prefer to have my local tuner / friend tuning my car as it's obviously a lot more convenient. not to take anything away from torrie as the car ran good on his tune, ken has been tuning my cars for years though, he just hadn't had a chance to play with one yet til this week

Was a weekend filled with ups and downs at the NMRA World Finals @ Beech Bend Raceway.

Modular Depot hooked me up with a tune late friday to give the car some more juice.

sorry i said juice instead of boost, i assumed you would know that i meant i added boost to the car

and i think some other confusion might have been on the cooldown

so, let me rundown my runs

stock (not heat soaked) 13.84

torries first tune heat soaked 14.0
non heat soaked and cooled down 13.52

torries 2nd tune non heat soaked without pass seat at 2 different tracks 13.13

modular depot tune increasing boost and heat soaked 13.17, modular depot tune non heat soaked 12.75

as far as pulling the seat. i'm really just putting myself on more of an even playing field with most drivers. i'm 285, average weight on most is probably between 180-220, and the seat probably weights 50-60 lbs. probably good for .05 or so, really not a huge factor

i'll leave the seat in next time and put a 135lb driver in the car lol

That is all well and good, but it is not like he is trying to claim this was a stock 2010. He has been MUCH more forthcoming with info than the majority of net folk. And in the end, he does not owe anyone on here an explanation of what he is doing, but some people are acting as if he has to tell us what color of underwear he was wearing. Does the forum know every single modification of every single car that ever posts numbers? Heck no. Let's just be glad he is willing to run the car and run it hard.

For the record, I am tired of you not telling us the baro/windspeed and direction/ground temp/alignment of the moons of jupiter for every run beefcake, quit being so dang secretive about that stuff!!

Wow, there is a lot of tards in this thread. Anyway, congrats on being the 1st Ecoboost in the 12s! Very impressive for the weight of the car. I can't wait to see what one will do once the airflow on both ends is opened up.

If you see Terry in person you wouldn't lip him like that. There is a reason his name is beefcake. Ken has been a top tuner for years so and is dealer backed so him having the codes is probably nothing uncommon.

Dude. Really. You just dont get it. This is the internet. This is SHOForum. Everyone here is a nutswinger, obviously you included. For focksake.... Ask a question. Now We're getting burned for asking how he did it? Asking how he did it on stock boost... Oh wait, it wasnt...???

Beefcake, I am proud to have you here, dragging your nuts and being proud of running 12's. I really am.

This forum (for the most part) is for learning, and sharing information. (let me turn into a nutswinging fock for a minute here and ask you to share your information so you can help our community) So what do you say? Help our community out and share some information so that we can "as a whole" make this car fast?
