hey i have a 99' vw passat i was wondering *** to get the door panels off to swap out my speakers would you be able to help me in anyway ?

1) oxy-acetylene torch

It should be the same as any door panel. there are some hidden screws, there are some inserts that have to be removed in the handle. I got rid of my 01 a couple months ago. If yours has the monsoon system why change the speakers?

I'll help. c'mon over, it can't be that bad. Take 90 West to Chicago, turn right on 294 towards Milwaukee and exit Touhy west. There's a 7-11 on Touhy near Maple I'll meet ya there.

you would get better luck on a VW forum but since your hear do it in general section you will get more views there

pretty sure the interior door pull has a plastic cover that has to come off to get at a pair of screws. those are the ones everyone always misses.
