well.. it was a .. "atleast the cams look good" sorta thing... but Yeah im pretty damn worried about that crap clogging up the oil passages. I really would like to see what the lower half of the engine looks like...

No, SHO motors have huge passages,low pressure/high volume oil sym. With all that gunk it means reg oil changes did NOT happen! I'd worry about excessive shim wear! Better get a feeler gauge & check the clearances. Let me know if you need the shim kit, they are just sitting here!

Yeah the day after i bought the car i changed the oil and the stuff that came out was just pure crap. Found a penzoil sticker on the window and changed the oil that only had 1500 miles on it..

AND with a top end that looks all gunked up I would do the Rod Bearings!

Yeah, if you need the shim kit, I'm sure Bill will let you use it for free because I never borrowed it after I bought the valve shim/cam tools.
