year, mileage, maintenance history? if you suspect the turbo check all the hoses especially at the clamps. the pcv valve is another popular source of oil based issues.

It's a 2014 with 75k mile and I always change my oil at 3k mile max. I have a upr dual catch can and it almost never got oil in it. The rear turbo have a little bit of oil on it seem to be coming from the piping.

Pull the intake hose off the throttle body and inspect for oil residue. If there is, it could be blowby from the bypass valves (I know you have dual catch cans) or a turbo is leaking. A turbo leak could worn seal ring(s) or excessive crankcase pressure pushing oil past the turbo seal rings. On my car, I measured 2.5psi of crankcase pressure during boost. If you look at the PCV connector on the valve cover of Bank 2, you'll see that unlike the Bank 1 connector, it has a tiny passage. This limits flow and allows crankcase pressure to build. I'm not sure why it's designed that way and I vented my crankcase through the oil cap to reduce the pressure. This can throw a code for "PCV disconnected".

did you install the sho specific application? if so i would talk with upr directly. how much oil you catch is a function of proper connections of course but also the location of the can itself. the lower and cooler the better. you will see more results in the winter time as conditions are ripe.

would also advise making sure the hoses are fuel/oil rated. many have had a problem even with hoses supplied by the catch can manufacturer.

@kryptto you have a upr setup correct?

I modified an oil cap to run a hose and gauge for diagnostics. With the OEM PCV system in place, I measure 2.5psi under boost.

I'm pretty sur my catch can is correctly connected. Maybe I should try to put the oem pcv system back on the car ? And I'm gonna try that to measure the crankcase pressure. Thx guys in advance

I have the same model year, so photos should natch, the 2015+ have a different strut tower config as a fyi.

If there is any questions about parts and install contact Steve Buscius directly.

I'm running ~19psi of boost with peaks of 21psi. If you are stock, your crankcase pressure may be way lower.

Sorry guys I was on vacation and didnt have time for the car. I took photo of how my catch can is connected and seem to be similar to your photos . I've seen guys saying that it could be that the turbo oil filter might get clogged. Do you think I should clean them ? I didnt have time to check the cranckcase pressure either.20240723 140346

That looks like mine for sure - you replace the filters in the turbo lines btw. They can be a pita to get out as with anything right engine turbo.

No need to replace the turbo oil line filters (screens). They come out easily and just squirt them with brake clean. But if they were clogged, you'd be burning up your turbos. My screens were perfectly clean with 12,000+ running hours on my engine.

So it look like my turbo might start to be bad ? Looking at the oil level and it's still good doesn't seem to drop.

At idle when the car did run during the day and now is almost cold it might smoke white/blue but rarely and when I downshift in sport mode it smoke too.
