Hard to say without under hood pics, but good for you for wanting to fix that and keep it on the road.

It doesn't look *too* bad, but like the others said, underhood is the only way you'll know for sure.

Weird things happen with hits like that, especially on these Northeast cars that may have rust. Check the frame horns (where the bumper support mounts) to make sure they're not bent. If they are, it's gonna have to see a frame machine and may not be worth the cost.

Depending on the price and condition of the rest of the car, it's at least a good parts car.

what do you guys think?

Hmmm why does that look familiar......

Oh yeah! Now I remember!

I tied the car to a tree and backed up in order to pull the radiator support out, "fixed" the cosmetic crap up, and drove it for quite a while after that. I put a lot of work into it, and that was only to make it driveable. It was a beater from that point on, though. It probably has two dozen zip-ties holding the front end together...

Edit: Are the airbags blown in the one you're looking at? From the pictures, I'd assume they are. That's another expense to consider.

air bags are not blown unless he replaced them but I doubt it. He said the car was basically mint before the accident it has around 120k on it with all options. It looks like your car has less damage but the bags blew.

I find it hard to believe the bags didn't blow. There's a crash sensor in the middle of the radiator support, right where the impact occured. If they truly didn't, I wonder if they're even functional.

The impact on my car was further toward the passenger side. There was plenty of damage too, though it's hard to tell in the pictures I posted. I'll dig up some others.

the air bag light is always in my stang. I don't think it would go off in an accident since the light is on.

it runs but he said it leaks antifreeze quickly so he doesn't run it long. This car is literally 2mins from my work. I was gonna look at it tonight until the rains came hopefully I will look at it tomorrow. If its not worth fixing I still may get it for to part out.

All of the front clip parts are interchangeable. If you use the bumper from a slo, you need to also use the header and headlights. If you want to keep the sho fenders, you need to use the sho/sable turn signals. The lights have a different angle, but will work with the slo lights.
The only real difference between a sho front clip and slo is the bumper cover, sable bumper, fenders, hood, header and lights. I been fixing mine with sable parts

-what will work is any Gen 2 Sable. everything transfers...EXCEPT the bumper itself.(and the fact u will need ur fishbowl dummy lights) but u have to get the SHo bumper reinforcement and s SHO bumper cover, other than that... tranfer it over....been there, done that.

Same here with the Sable parts. In that pic it kind of looks like the right front tire isn't straight. Maybe it's just the angle of the pic but might want to look underneath at the suspension.

I thought the Sable hood had some clearance issue with the SHO motor or what it the SLO hood? I know the SLO has that drop section in the center. The flat Sable/SHO hood looks better. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that one.

i was under the impression that the hood n fenders on a sho were actually sable pieces and are a few inches longer? at least that is what i read at several different pages
