2016 PP SHO. It does have a tune, Stainless Works complete exhaust, JLT oil separator/catch can, and AFE Power cold air intake. Approximately 73,000 miles on the ODO.

Over the last few months, when I come to a stop, take off from a stop, start the car, or even turn sometimes, I will occasionally get the slightest wiff of what I believe to be oil burning. It’s not bad, but I do obviously have serious concerns. It really only last for a few seconds, as well.

The oil level does not drop any more than it ever has. I am OCD with maintenance, and can’t find any oil leaks anywhere. My primary thought is that my turbos are going bad, but I’m really not sure. Power is still amazing, and doesn’t seem to have dropped off any.

Any thoughts about what is going on and what it could be? Right now, it is a complete annoyance, but if there is anything I can do now to fix it, I’m all about that.

Sounds like ptu is dripping. These cars are infamous for that.

I am 99.9999% certain it isn’t the PTU. For one, I’ve checked that as well, and it’s dry as a bone. For two, the gear oil inside of it gives off a propane/gear oil smell. What I’m smelling is definitely motor oil.

The way it comes into the cabin for that brief time, I just feel like it’s ignition or turbo related.

Well actually a good thing, might end up being just a simple gasket or o-ring somewhere, funny how we are all familiar with that gear oil smell.
