Not sure if this is the right location for this thread. I just found out today that my wheels are directional. Which way do they go on. The sharp edge facing forward? Why are they designed this way? Maybe to pull heat from the brakes out? What about rotating the tires then? Had 3 SHO's and I just looked at them after reading on RCM's web site that there is a left and a right...LOL

Yeah, the original wheels on a 93 are directional. They have RH or LH on the back.

91-92 Slicers were made in Canada and are non-directional (all the same). 93-95 Slicers were made in Italy and are directional (left and right).

Yea, Canadians go both ways. As for rotating, just keep them on the same side or remove the tires and remount on the other wheels.

Looks like all I need to do to it is to swap my front wheels from left to right. The back ones are okay if the sharp edge goes forward and the bigger flat edge faces away from the front?

If you take off the center cap, the Italians will have Italy, and RH or LH written on them. They are labeled for people like me.

As far as function goes, I'm not sure that they would move that much air because the backs of the spokes are concave. I think the design is purely for asthetics. As far as which way they're meant to face, its probably personal preference. Unless of course, you have tires with directional tread.
